About the artwork: Creating "Tandem Two-Step" was a fun challenge. The Ocean Wash provided a beautiful backdrop of blues for the white egrets to make their entrance upon. The Ocean Wash also provided some lovely values of white and, thus, several options for spreading of the wings. The merging of the wings allowed the two egrets to present themselves as if they were dancing. The title, "Tandem Two-Step" seemed to be the perfect reflection of their collaborative stance. A golden moon glistening on the water created the ultimate atmosphere for the couple to engage in their intimate performance.
